Nurture Talent and Promote Chess
We strive to promote the spread of chess and change the stereotype that chess is only a game for older individuals and “nerds”. We believe that chess is a sport that challenges both the mind and body for anyone, no matter their appearance, upbringing, or personality. With our expertise, we can help you grow, develop, and nurture a passion for the game that everyone around you can see. Introducing people to the game at an early age will go along way, and once introduced, the passion must be developed in a way that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. This passion is our ultimate goal, and is the indicator of a fantastic partnership between student and teacher.

Expand Your Skills, Realize Your Potential
Group Lessons
These lessons will be split into two levels, one for those who are just starting out and getting a feel for the game, and one for those who have experience playing and may have even been to some tournaments. My approach will be different for the two groups, but the end goal is the same: Improving your chess-playing ability. Some similarities between the material for both groups, however, will include improving your tactical ability and then focusing on building a strong opening repertoire.*

One-on-One Lessons
We specialize in a variety of lesson plans and teach our students with a mixture of practical exercises, patience, and adaptability. We know that each student is different, and so our teaching style will evolve as the student progresses, tailored to their playing style and needs. Although learning chess can become a strenuous task, once bitten by the chess bug, it won't become such a burden. Meanwhile, we will make chess lessons as engaging and fun as they can be.
